Martin Okonkwo is an experienced, multiple award-winning Illustrator, Graphic Designer, and Comic Book Creator, Artist, and writer. His experience in the creative field spans more than a decade and a half. He has worked on Illustrations, Art Direction, Storyboards, Design and branding for numerous clients, including Access Bank Nigeria, MTN Nigeria, Nestle, Learn Africa, Dufil, etc He is the founder of Epoch Studios, of which Epoch Comics is a subsidiary. He is the creator of several popular Nigerian comic book titles like AEGIS, Barikisu, Teen Angels, The Seraph, Pterygote, The Prophecy, Moondust, to name a few.

  • How long is the young writers prep school?

    It is a four week programme run during the summer only

  • How many batches are there for the YWPS?

    There are two batches for the young writers prep school. One in July and the second one in August. This is to accommodate different regions and when the schools go on summer holidays.

  • Does my access to the programme end after the 4 weeks?

    No, every enrolled student has access to the platform for eight months, so that they can publish their books including complete illustrations if it is part of their book,

  • Will I be assigned a batch?

    Not exactly. You get to decide what batch you want to join.

  • Is there a separate early bird fees for batch August (B)?

    No. the early bird fees is only available in June regardless of the batch that you choose to join.

  • Can I get a refund?

    Unfortunately, we do not offer refunds once enrolled because you have access to all the downloadable materials and access to all the course work and videos. We are sure that if you follow through all that you will be taught, you will achieve success and results like other young authors that have gone through the programme

  • How can I get my book cover done and illustrations?

    We will share with you various platforms where you can get this done and we also have our in-house graphics designer and illustrator if you choose to use ours.

  • Is editing part of my fees?

    No, editing or proof reading is not part of the fees. We can sign post you to where you can find editors, or you can choose to use ours.
